This is the second year that I’ve had one of these lovely calendar. It looks so nice next to my bookcases and the detail is incredible. I just love it!

I bought these for my friends. Such a good idea and hugely loved. Always fabulous to find something original.

Beautiful drawings of delightful bookshops that I'm rapidly adding to my bucket list to visit. Worth reading the text for each month too which adds interest and value.

Not sure if I get this calendar for the convenience or for the art work. 2022’s calendar was great but this one is even more beautiful.

I have one and it is fabulous! Looking forward to discovering and visiting a bookshop a month. Especially love the anecdotes and descriptions about each bookshop. These old bookshops are where love of reading is born. Long may they go on giving. Your drawings make them come to life!

I absolutely love this calendar along with the 2022 edition. Thomas is such a talented artist, producing beautifully detailed work. The artwork, coupled with the descriptions make me want to head out on a tour of all of the featured bookshops. I will be keeping my calendar even after the year is over, and can see my book collection growing over the coming year as I am inspired to visit the featured shops.

I purchased the set of 4 Christmas trees of Oxford cards recently. Thomas’s ink drawings are fabulously detailed, but the addition of the Christmas trees in colour is stunning. Although these are marketed as Christmas cards, I plan to put them in frames and use them as part of my Christmas decor so that I can enjoy them year after year.

Not only is The Booklovers Guide to Bookshops an unusual subject for a calendar but the author, Thomas Shepherd is a talented artist and his intricate drawings of each bookshop are worthy of display alone. Each month there is an written insight into a different bookshop, somewhere in the U.K., complete with contact details, grid reference and a little hand drawn map! It’s a book lover’s treat. Intent on visiting all 900 independent bookshops in the country, Thomas’ calendars are something to keep and refer to as each year passes.

Thomas is a very gifted artist and these cards are just lovely! I bought some last year and couldn't wait for this year's release!
